Ella's Americana Folk Art Cafe

Last night I ate dinner, had a few beers, and saw an awesome show at Ella's Americana Folk Art Cafe with Lisa as an early start to my birthday celebration this weekend. This is definitely my new favorite spot. Good food, great beer and wine selection, friendly staff, cool art, great music venue...and to top it off Sunday's are "Soul Food Sundays", complete with dishes such as: Fried Catfish, Collard Greens w/ Bacon, Crawfish, Fried Okra, Kansas City Style BBQ, and everybody's favorite...Chicken and Waffles! Then, just when I thought the place couldn't get any cooler, I realized that Woody Pines from Ashville, North Carolina was playing at 10 p.m. for 5 bucks! Check 'em out, they were really good! Anyway, what a great night...can't wait to check out the "Soul Food Sunday's"!
